OUR WORK
Rob and Grace came to Nepal in January of 2011 and took up residence on the south side of the Kathmandu Valley. They started working with another missionary and in 2014, the Lord led them to plant Biswaas Bible Baptist Church in the Newari village of Saano Khokhana. They originally started meeting in open-air cattle shelters with local shepherds and whomever would come, but eventually rented a mud and brick stable that they renovated and used for services and just recently moved into a simple flat that provides more space and security.
They produce and broadcast a weekly Newari language gospel radio program and run a youth feeding and education ministry six nights/week where they have the opportunity to preach to and teach more than 60 children each night. Through the week they go out soulwinning, meet for prayer meetings, and Rob trains and works with several men one-on-one.
In 2019 the Robideau family moved back to the US for health reasons and now return to Nepal bi-annually to teach, train, and oversee the work that continues.
