Dear Pastor,
My wife and I are going as missionaries to spread the gospel in the country of Nepal.
The Lord laid this country on my heart while I was in high school and our recent
survey trip deepened our burden for these spiritually needy people. The vast majority
of the Nepalis in this largely Hindu nation will live their entire lives in spiritual
darkness. They worship and sacrifice to their false gods and pass on these ungodly
traditions to their children to perpetuate the chains of bondage from generation
to generation. Most Nepalis have never heard the gospel and only recently has it
become legal to leave the Hindu religion. Even so, less than one percent of the
Nepali people even claim to be Christians.
We hope that you will prayerfully consider supporting us in our endeavors to reach the people
of Nepal for Christ. While studying the language, we will begin working in the existing
Hope Baptist Church (established by another Independent Baptist missionary) in the
capital city of Kathmandu. During that time, we will also be working with their
new Bible Institute to train nationals to reach their own people. We then hope to
start another church in the Kathmandu Valley and use that as a starting point to
reach the numerous outlying towns and villages through an aviation ministry. We are confident that the Lord can
do a great work in this country that is finally opening up after years of political
turmoil.
We would appreciate any opportunity to come and present the work in your ministry.
I would be more than happy to answer any questions that you might have
and provide you with a copy of our video presentation. On this website, you will find
our testimonies, a statement about what we believe,
and letters of recommendation (links on the side panel). Thank
you for your time and consideration.
Prayerfully yours,
